Last updated: September 1, 2025
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Free Evite collects, how we use it, and your choices. We designed Free Evite to be simple: no ads, no selling of personal data, and no account required to create or RSVP to an event.
If anything here is unclear, please contact us.
1) Information We Collect
A. Event Organizers
- Event details: title, description, dates/times, timezone, RSVP deadline, optional passcode, capacity, and options for guests to bring additional attendees.

- Organizer contact: email address (optional, used to send you your event link and updates).
- Images: invitation/cover image (if uploaded).
B. Guests (Invitees)

- Improve and protect: monitor performance, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and enhance features.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users and the service.

- Legal obligations: compliance with the law or lawful requests.
6) Data Retention & Deletion
- Event data: kept until the organizer deletes the event or it's removed under our retention rules.
- RSVP data: kept for the life of the event; it's deleted when the organizer deletes the event.
- Backups/logs: limited-time backups may persist for up to 30 days after deletion for reliability and disaster recovery.
Organizers can delete their events at any time. If you're a guest and want your RSVP removed, contact the organizer or contact us directly.
